Business Law
Formation, agreements, and practical counsel for entrepreneurs, investors, and growing companies.
Set your business up right from the start.
Most business disputes trace back to something that was never put in writing — who owns what, who decides, and what happens when a partner leaves. We help owners and investors form their companies, document their agreements, and keep things in order as the business grows.

Common questions
Do I need a lawyer to form an LLC in Texas?
You can file a certificate of formation with the Texas Secretary of State yourself. The value of a lawyer is in the company agreement and the decisions around it — ownership, voting, and what happens if the owners disagree.
Do I need an operating agreement if I’m the only owner?
It is still a good idea. It helps show the company is separate from you personally and sets out what happens to the business if something happens to you.
Can you help with an existing business, not just new ones?
Yes. We review and update agreements, help bring in or buy out partners, and handle contracts as the business grows.
